The Supreme Council representatives declared that the deadline for the submissions of applications has been extended to 30 June, 2013.
“The EEA is one of the most significant initiatives launched by the the Supreme Council to promote sustainable development, raise awareness on energy-efficiency and its critical role in developing communities,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council.
“The Award is a great opportunity for individuals and organisations to showcase their projects and exchange expertise. The EEA aims to honour outstanding projects and recognise best practices in the fields of energy efficiency,” added Al Tayer.
“The MENA region places the highest emphasis on traditional, alternative and renewable energy projects. “One of the categories of the EEA is education and scientific research, and it was great to see many representatives of scientific research institutions attending the press conference, to learn about the potential opportunities for university students in Morocco to present their projects,” added Al Muhairbi.
